I love these things. I run 3-4 times a week and have been trying to get away from the big clompers, going a bit more minimalist. My others are the Saucony Kinvara, which I also like, but these are just a bit more comfortable. I've done dozens of miles in them already, and the comfort is amazing. Zappos is superb to deal with, which makes it even better.

I was surprised at how cute the Free TR are once you have them on. In the past I have worn an 8.5 or 9 in Nikes, so I was also surprised when I had to return these for a size 8. I have a narrow foot but am able to tie them so they feel snug enough. The ankle does come up higher than most athletic shoes, but it really helps keep the shoes secure on your feet. They really feel "one" with your foot!
